As teachers, we know the Literacy Through Unity lessons are good for you. The research is there. Unfortunately, not all students are interested in doing what is good for them. Our challenge is to motivate the unmotivated and to engage the disengaged learners. Through engineering the environment, creating books with digital images, and creating computer setups with popular software, we have been able to achieve buy-in from some difficult-to-motivate students. By combining clinician made materials with the carefully crafted Literacy Through Unity lessons, we now have an answer to the age-old question, "But what will we do on Monday?"
